Digital Marketing & E-Commerce Executive

Established in 1986, Rokit is one of the UK's leading vintage, designer and branded clothing retailers. With iconic stores in Camden, Covent Garden and Brick Lane and a worldwide online audience, the company has recycled over a million tonnes of vintage and pre-loved clothes over the past three decades to become the highly regarded regular haunt for style-savvy Londoners.

The Role

Your primary focus will be assisting the digital marketing manager and the wider marketing team in executing the digital marketing strategy. 

We work in a heavy operational, fast-paced and constantly evolving environment and we need someone keen on taking the challenge. This role will give you the opportunity to work with a multicultural and experienced eCommerce team as well as take ownership of several digital marketing channels.

What You’ll Do

  • Planning, creating, and scheduling daily content in line with the omnichannel marketing strategy across our 3 core social channels: Instagram, Tiktok & Pinterest. 
  • Produce marketing emails in line with the overall marketing strategy and seasonal promotions. Utilise email platforms to execute, track and reports on digital campaigns. 
  • Assist with the execution of the SEO strategy by writing website copy and SEO-optimized content as required. 
  • Look after press loans, deal with queries and forward these on where necessary.
  • Research and analyse competitor activities, initiatives and market trends. Understanding our target customers by researching their needs, priorities, and passions – and delivering content that rationale with them. 
  • Assisting the creative team in executing digital and non-digital campaigns as required. 
  • Keep up to date on new and emerging trends, formats, and channels for content to help inform future campaigns and strategies. 
  • General admin duties to assist with business needs as required.

Qualification & Skills Requirements

To succeed in this role, you must be dedicated, career-focused, and proactive while using your creativity and problem-solving skills. 

Essential:
  • Marketing, Communication or Fashion Degree with excellent knowledge of marketing theory and best practices.
  • Organised and able to multitask when juggling a varied workload.
  • Excellent communication skills, with an eye for detail and good proofreading skills (the ideal candidate is an English mother tongue speaker with a creative flair for creating engaging written content)
  • Good working knowledge of the major social media platforms.
  • Ability to take direction and work as part of a team and on your initiative.
  • Have a positive can-do attitude and be willing to help in other business areas as required.
  • Computer literate.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Awareness of SEO principles would be a big advantage!
  • 1 or 2 years of previous marketing experience.
Desirable:
  • Content creation - experience in creating engaging content for IG & Tiktok.
  • Graphic design skills with experience using Canva or Creative Suite.
  • Shopify or other CMS Experience.
  • Email Marketing Experience.
